the train named prambanan ekspres

whenever i go back from jogja to my hometown, kutoarjo, (or vise versa), i prefer to use train rather than bus or motorcycle. for me and may be for the others too (especially non-local students in jogja or solo like me) think that bus is quite expensive compared to the (bussiness class) train for medium to long-distance trip. while motorcycle... ehm... is the same except we will get more tired obviously (but fortunately, i have not had driving liscence yet... :).

while for the same distance (from jogja to kutoarjo, it is about 70 km far)the bus ticket will be 12000 rupiahs and the motorcycle needs about 10000 rupiahs for the fuel, a prameks (shortened from prambanan ekspress) train ticket will only cost 7000 rupiahs, how cheap! beside this, the trip with prameks will take only half in time compared to bus or motorcycle.

but, behind its interesting cost and incredible speed, there is one serious problem left. everyday, when the clock rises to 7.00 pm and 04.00 am, people start to go to their office for work, or comeback to their home after work, then the train operates around that time will be very crowded, seems like overnumber of passenger. even, this can still get worse when holiday. huh... at the time, you will feel difficult to sit, although on the floor... so it's wiser to choose another schedule of departure.

if you are tourist who wish to visit many interesting sites at either jogja or solo, then prameks will give you such well accessibility to travel to those places.
